If you are working in a direct patient care setting and are interested in expanding your patient care services, this workshop is ideal for you! The changing scope of pharmacy demands new practice patterns, skills, and behaviors to successfully participate in direct patient care. In this non-credit postgraduate program, you will learn key concepts and strategies that can be used in your direct patient care practice site to enhance your knowledge and expand your role as a health care provider.
This program represents an exciting collaboration amongst the Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of Alberta, the Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Toronto, and the School of Pharmacy, University of Waterloo. This partnership will allow participants to register into either the Alberta workshop taking place in Banff or, into the Ontario workshop at the White Oaks Conference Resort and Spa in Niagara-on-the-Lake. Elements of each offering will be presented via videoconference so that you may learn from a broad spectrum of subject matter and patient care experts.
