Rene completed his Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy at the University of Alberta in 1998 and his Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Toronto in 2010. Rene has contributed his expertise to the Practice Development since 2010, coordinating and developing courses to enhance the skills of practicing pharmacists. He has recently become Director of Practice Development in January, 2012. Rene has a strong interest in the continuing professional development of pharmacists and is currently on the Board of Directors for the Canadian Council on Continuing Education in Pharmacy (CCCEP). In addition to his role as Director, he maintains an academic position as Clinical Assistant Professor at the Faculty, teaching in the undergraduate pharmacy program.

CoordinatorLinda is currently responsible for coordinating the Practice Development courses. Previously she worked as a pharmacy assistant for 12 years and taught grades 1–9 with Edmonton Public Schools for 17 years. Linda holds a BA (1987) and BEd (1991) from the University of Alberta.
