Practice Development sadly says farewell to Carol Hawkes, our long time administrative assistant. She has retired from the University of Alberta after over 20 years of service and will be sorely missed by all who have worked with her. We wish Carol all the best in her retirement!
The PHARMALearn: Anticoagulation course has expired as of July 31, 2011. We had originally planned on providing an update to the print version of the course; however after some careful consideration of new developments in this area, the course could no longer be simply updated in its current format. At this time, the decision has been made not to offer a print-based PHARMALearn: Anticoagulation course as had previously been done. We are currently exploring other options to be able to deliver this topic in a manner that aligns with our vision for university–based continuing education for pharmacists. Thank you to all of the pharmacists who have expressed interest in this course
